<p>PURPOSE:To correctly adjust the degree of parallelization for axes by providing the support bracket of an electric motor on the boss section of a steering wheel, and providing a means adjusting the degree of parallelization for axes of a steering shaft and the electric motor on the support bracket. CONSTITUTION:A boss section 5 is coupled with a support bracket 12 via a bearing 13, and the boss section 5 is fixed at the upper end section of a steering shaft 3 to assemble a power steering device 1. An electric motor 9 is fixed to a steering column 2 supporting the steering shaft 3 via a fed support member 8. Multiple bolts 15 are screwed to the support bracket 12 to fix a cover 11 and the support bracket 12. The axis direction of the pinion 10 of the electric motor 9 is properly set by relatively changing the fastening forces of bolts 15. The correct degree of parallelization between the steering shaft 3 and the pinion 10 is obtained.</p> |
