PURPOSE:To obtain a distinct trace at the time of writing with an oil marker on the surface of a thermal transfer image-receiving sheet by containing a thermal-time fusion inhibitor mainly composed of specific compounds in an image-receiving layer or by forming the layer of the inhibitor on the surface of the image-receiving layer. CONSTITUTION:A sublimation type thermal transfer recording image-receiving sheet has an image-receiving layer mainly composed of thermoplastic resin provided on the surface of a substrate. A thermal-time fusion inhibitor mainly composed of one or two kinds or more of compounds selected out of aluminum alcoholate, aluminum chelate, aluminum cyclic oligomer, titanium alcoholate, titanium acylate, titanium chelate, metal sulfonate, and metal naphthenate, which are oily or oil-soluble at the normal temperature, are contained in the image-receiving layer or the layer of the inhibitor is formed on the surface of the image-receiving layer. This thermal transfer image-receiving sheet can obtain a distinct trace at the time of writing with an oil marker on the surface of the thermal transfer image-receiving sheet without fusing to a thermal transfer sheet at the time of printing and without lowering the transfer concentration of a thermal transfer image-receiving sheet used heretofore. |
