In the cleaning assembly, within a spinning machine, additional filter belt cleaners (11,12) connected to the suction channel (8) are distributed along the machine length, between the end filter belt cleaners (9,14; 10,13). Pref. the suction channel (8) runs along the centre of the spinning machine, connected to a suction fan (15) at one end, and has branch channels (16-19) leading to the filter belt cleaners (11-14). The filter belt cleaners (9,10,13,14) are located in pairs at the ends of the spinning machine frame (1) on the outside in front of the deflection points, and are switched according to the movement of the filter belt (2). A filter belt cleaner can be located at both ends of the machine, which can be switched from one side of the filter belt to the other, on a pivot mounting which works according to the rotary direction of the filter belt drive (7). Sensors (23) operate a switch mechanism (22) to activate the filter belt cleaners (11,12) distributed along the machine length, and the switch (22) also sets the direction of filter belt drive (7) rotation to give an alternating cleaning action through the cleaners (9-14) or the alternating cleaner unit. Each filter belt cleaner (9-14) is connected to its branch suction channel (16-19) through a valve (30-35) , operated by the switch system (24-29). ADVANTAGE - The additional cleaners ensure that the suction extraction works efficiently.
