摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To invariably obtain the optimum control characteristic by displacing an engine output adjusting member to increase the ratio adjusting the driving torque when the road surface mu is low, and changing the shift ratio of a continuously variable transmission to increase the ratio adjusting the driving torque when the road surface mu is high. CONSTITUTION:The rotation of an engine 10 is transferred to drive wheels 16 and 18 via a belt type continuously variable transmission (CVT) 14 and a forward/reverse switching device 15, and the CVT 14 controls the feed/ discharge of the operating oil to a hydraulic cylinder applying the pinching pressure to variable pulleys 20 and 22 via the control in a CVT hydraulic control circuit 25 to change the shift ratio. The driving torque is controlled by adjusting the shift ratio of the CVT 14 or the opening of a throttle valve 28 when a vehicle is started or accelerated. A road surface mu detecting means is provided, when the road surface mu is low, the ratio adjusting the driving torque is increased by adjusting the throttle valve 28, when the road surface muis high, the ratio adjusting the driving torque is increased by changing the shift ratio of the CVT 14.</p>
