PURPOSE:To obtain the title lubricating oil improved in compatibility with tetrafluoroethane over a wide temperature range from a low temperature region to a high temperature region by using as the constituent a polyoxyalkylene glycol derivative which comprises a polyoxyalkylene glycol having a fluorinated substituent linked thereto and which has a specified structural formula. CONSTITUTION:A polyoxyalkylene glycol derivative which comprises a polyoxyalkylene glycol having a fluorinated substituent linked thereto and which has a structural formula I [wherein A is a polyether segment of formula II or III, or a polyether segment consisting of that of formulas II and/or III and a 15C or lower binding group; Y is H, a 1-20C hydrocarbon group, or a substituted derivative thereof; R is 2-4C alkylene (wherein the H atom is replaced by an 8C or lower substituent); (m) is 2 to 80; Rf is a fluorinated substituent comprising a 1-20C perfluorocarbon group or a partially substituted derivative thereof, or a 2-150C perfluoroether or perfluoropolyether group or a partially substituted derivative thereof; X is a 15C or lower divalent binding group; (n) is 1 to 6] is mixed, if necessary, with oil having other structure. |
