<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the runaway and malfunction of a CPU for an IC card by switching and supplying a driving frequency to the IC card in a state that the supply of a reset signal is stopped when the driving frequency is selected to be switched and supplied. CONSTITUTION:The clock signals of the prescribed frequency selected from plural clock signal generating means 310, 311... are supplied to a processor 200 of the IC card. At such time, the supply of the reset signal to the processor 200 of the IC card is stopped by a clock signal supply control means 350. Thus, the internal operation of the processor 200 for the IC card is stopped and when the clock signals are switched and supplied, the runaway and the malfunction of the processor 200 is not generated.</p> |
