PURPOSE: To largely reduce a printing loss by continuously or temporarily moving an inking roller to a position in contact with a printing plate by a controller during a stop of interrupting printing or rubber blanket cleaning step during inking before printing. CONSTITUTION: An inking roller 34 is moved to a contact position via a controller 35. That is, an inking unit 1 and the roller 34 of a wetting unit 2 are brought into contact with a printing plate mounted on a plate cylinder 33. An arrow marked on the roller 34 indicates capability of rolling via the controller 35. An interval is generated by the rolling between the roller 34, and outer surfaces of the roller 34, cylinder 33 and hence the printing plate. Before starting printing, particularly the roller 34 is retained at the contact position with the cylinder 33 during interruption of the printing step, stopping or cleaning step of rubber blanket. Thus, an ink profile near the printing step is obtained and hence optimum printing result without printing loss is performed. |
