PURPOSE:To prevent sudden spout of hot water from a shower nozzle at starting of hot water feeding and thereby provide possibility of using the shower in safety by furnishing a rate-of-flow adjustment control means at a hot water amount adjusting means installed on the shower flow-path, and increasing the hot water amount slowly at the time of starting use of the shower. CONSTITUTION:A hot water amount adjusting means 18 is furnished on the flow path for shower water, while a rate-of-flow adjustment control means 34 is furnished to increase the hot water feed amount from the shower gradually to the set value of the rate of flow when switch is actuated on an operational part 25 to make changing-over of the shower stream, adjustment of the water temp and amount, selection of the shower mode, etc. When this switch on the operational part is put on, the mentioned rate-of-flow adjustment control means performs such control that the degree of valve opening of the hot water amount adjusting means starts with the minimum throttle opening, followed by gradual enlargement of the degree of valve opening till the preset value of water amount. Accordingly, no hot water in a great quantity will spout momentarily at the time of starting the hot water feed out of the shower, to permit safe use with good manipulating property. |
