PURPOSE:To improve the control performance of the update information on the terminal software by providing a terminal software update information data base which controls the update information on the terminal software. CONSTITUTION:The software necessary for processing information is previously registered to a terminal software register library 3 from an external medium 1 via a host machine 2. Then the terminal software registered in the library 3 from an end user terminal 5 can be received in an optional timing. The contents of the terminal software are controlled via a terminal software update information data base 6 and maintained via an operator terminal 4. At the same time, the terminal software registered in the library 3 is forcibly allocated to the terminal 5 with an instruction given from the terminal 4. Thus the terminal software is updated and at the same time the base 6 is also updated. Furthermore each terminal information data base 7 can be maintained via the terminal 4. As a result, the control performance is improved for the update information on the terminal software.
