PURPOSE:To facilitate picture drawing processing by providing a holding means to store the pattern coordinate of the point at the time of the finish of one picture drawing command when the picture of a continuous thick line is drawn. CONSTITUTION:A pattern coordinate output circuit 20 is constituted of a muROM 21, a mu sequencer 22, a logical pel control circuit 23, a pattern starting position register 24, a pattern coordinate output register 25, and a working register 26 and so on. Then, when the sequencer 22 detects the finish of first thick line picture drawing, it outputs a transfer directing instruction to the register 26 and the pattern coordinate at the time of the finish of a first thick line picture drawing command is stored in the register 25. A user accesses the contents of the register 25 from an external part, and writes them in the register 24, and starts the next picture drawing. Thus, by providing a means to hold the last thick line coordinate, complicated work such as calculation for setting a pattern starting position can be made unnecessary. |
