The starter is an inproved one of the single phase induction motor starter using avalanche breakdown of the transistor. Hysteresis band of the relay is increased up to 75V(50V-125V) compared to 30V in old one. This provides excellent starting characteristics, high productivity and arcless ON/OFF operation. The modification has been achieved by positive feedback of 'NAND' gates (M1-M4) and regulation of input signals. The system conprises of power supply, signal input and hysteresis hard correction circuit. The voltage is applied to the starting winding (W3) via terminal (T1), TR1AC and starting condenser (SC). The applied voltage is rectified in D, across T3 and T4. The hysteresis band is regulated by R3.
