PURPOSE:To attain the maintenance diagnosis and to improve the maintenance control performance with no consciousness of a packing position even in a system having the different packing position information by providing a memory into a package to hold the information showing the packing position. CONSTITUTION:The minimum dividing unit of a faulty device is defined as a package 2 and the packing position of the package 2 is shown in a packing stage row set on a rack 1, i.e., three packing stages 0, 1 and 2 and four packing rows 0, 1, 2 and 3. A holding memory 4 can set the stages and the rows of the package 2 with the signal of a pin set in a package connector 5 of the rack 1. Then the packing position information is set to a memory 4 of each package 2 with application of a power supply and can be read by a soft/hard interface. That is, the packing position information on the faulty device can be read out of the memory 4 in a maintenance diagnostic mode without turning the position information into the data. As a result, the maintenance diagnosis is attained without changing the data even in a system having the different packing position information. Then the maintenance control performance is improved. |
