Device for transferring the film from one tank to another in automatic developers without a continuous conveyor belt. Into each tank (22) is inserted a frame (23) supporting an upper shaft (26) driven by a set of gears (25, 27, 29) which are connected, through the use of a drive element, to a motor, to which shaft a first pair of gears (30, 31) is fixed, which are connected with the aid of two chains (32, 33) to a second pair of gears (34, 35) fixed to a lower shaft (36) supported by the said frame, the said chains being in contact with the ends of a small frame (37) to which the film is fixed, means being provided on the said chains for driving the said small frame into the said tank. <IMAGE>
