<p>An anti-theft device (15) for a car electronic component, such as a car radio (11), is described. The anti-theft device (15) includes a panel assembly (14) defined by a rectangular surrounding frame (13) and a panel member (18). The panel member (18) includes a plurality of randomly spaced apertures (17) from which a plurality of electrical wires (16) project. When the device (15) is mounted over a car electronic-component, it creates the illusion that the car electronic component has been removed or stolen, preventing any would-be-thief from breaking into the car.</p> |
