The support lining for mining roadways or tunnels consists of corrugated roof and prop sheets bolted to an arched support rib. Two roof sheets (1) are hoisted to the roof and bolted together at the top end, and two prop sheets (2) are then bolted to them. Both roof (1) and prop (2) sheets are drilled for bolts, but the perforations in the roof sheets (1) are slots (25) in the direction of the corrugation. The connection between the roof (1) and prop (2) sheets is made with inner and outer cleats (26, 21).
