Frames for doors and casement windows - are made from wood with fixed and hinged frames having common contours

A door or casement window has a fixed frame (17) and a hinged frame (1). Both frames (1,17) are made from wooden sections which are formed by a milling cutter and the part (4) of the fixed frame has a contour identical to the part of the hinged frame. The contour of these parts consists of two parallel grooves (8) and (9). In the case of the fixed frame the groove (9) receives an abutment strip (18) for the flexible sealing strip (15) attached to the hinged frame. In the case of the hinged frame the groove receives the sealing strip (10) which retains the double glazing unit (12). USE - Door and window frames.
