The TV receiver fastener on a housing consists of a spring element with an arresting lug at the outer spring end, which is located on a support on the housing wall inside. The lug points into the housing inner space and locks behind a protrusion on the rear wall inside, or in a arresting recess in the wall, on fitting the latter on the housing. The lug is compressible by a hold-down for release of the arresting connection. The support (13) of the spring element (15) fits in a bearing receptor (18, 20) on the rear wall (19) inner side in its mounting state. The support is of a tongue-shaped flat type pref. extended over the fastening point of the spring element. ADVANTAGE - Increased holding force with consequent improved reliability.
