PURPOSE:To decrease the deformation of a beta alumina tube molding and a container and to increase yield in a sintering process by standing and surely supporting from the lower side the beta alumina tube molding and the container with a first setter, a second setter, and a cover. CONSTITUTION:When a beta alumina tube molding is sintered with it covered with a container 15, the opening end of the beta alumina tube molding 10 is supported from the lower side with a first setter 11 which is preferably made of the same material as the beta alumina tube molding 10, and the container 15 is supported from the lower side with a cover 14 made of ceramic sinter. A second setter 13 made of ceramic sinter, having a projection 16 for holding the distance between the beta alumina tube molding 10 and the container 15 in a specified value is placed between the first setter 11 and the second setter 14. The beta alumina tube molding 10 and the container 15 are surely supported in specified positions, and the deformation of them is decreased even if supporting members are deformed in sintering. Yield in a sintering process is increased. |
