PURPOSE:To increase the electrical output of fuel cell effectively by additionally providing a system for removing carbon dioxide from fuel gas in the way of flow path for feeding fuel gas from a hydrogen producing system to the anode of fuel cell. CONSTITUTION:Fuel 1 is fed to a reaction tube 3 arranged in a reformer 2 of hydrogen producing system thus to produce fuel gas 4. Then it is led to carbon dioxide removing system 5 employing alkali absorption method to separate carbon dioxide and fed to the anode 8 of fused carbonate type fuel cell 7 while to mix the removed carbon dioxide 10 with outer air 11 and feed to the cathode 9. The electric power produced during oxidizing reaction of hydrogen is fed to an inverter 10. Consequently, the output of cell can be increased effectively by removing carbon dioxide from fuel gas while the removed carbon gas can be utilized as oxidizing agent gas. |
