PURPOSE:To change the contents of a storage device without changing a function by dividing the storage device and the storage device for alteration into plural blocks, and attaching previously a discrimination symbol to each block. CONSTITUTION:The block to which the same discrimination symbol as the discrimination symbol the block in the storage device 14 intended to change has is added is prepared in the storage device 15 for alteration. At the time of the start of a system, in the case where a block number corresponding to some discrimination symbol exists in both the block in the storage device 14 and the block in the storage device 15 for alteration, if a control table 12 is set so as to point the block in the storage device 15 for alteration, the block corresponding to the discrimination symbol can be replaced from the block in the storage device 14 to the block in the storage device 15 for alteration. Thus, the data of the block in the storage device can be replaced to the data of the block in the storage device for alteration without changing the function of each block.
