<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the subject promoter, containing a specific substituted benzene derivative as an active ingredient and useful as a treating agent for dementia, cerebral ischemic disorder and various neurotranumas. CONSTITUTION:A nerve growth factor-producing promoter containing a compound expressed by the formula (X is O, imino, S or sulfonate; R1 is H or protecting group of OH, NH2 or SH; R2 is cycloalkyl, aryl, aralkyl or heterocyclic ring which may be subjected to ring condensation with alkyl or aryl; (m) is 1 or 2; (n) is 1-3) or pharmacologically acceptable salt, e.g. 4- methylphenylenediamine, as an active ingredient.</p> |
