The combination of a ball located within a critically dimensioned ring enables the ball to behave similarly to an unfettered ball when cued on a flat surface. A plurality of combinations may form a pair of teams of "opposing players" and a "ball" for playing a simulated game of football on a carom table. The combination is useful for playing billiards or snooker on board ship and the table may be converted for football by the addition of clip-on goal posts and a semicircular ring (20), Fig 7 (not shown) into which the ball can jump on contact by the combination. <IMAGE> |
