<p>PURPOSE:To obtain radar data effective from the aspect of the navigation of a ship by calculating the difference between a radar video signal and a moving average value signal and comparing the average value signal with a reference signal to selectively output the radar video signal and the difference signal. CONSTITUTION:A moving average means 1 outputs a moving average value signal from the radar video signal from a radar apparatus. A difference means 2 outputs a difference signal from said signal and the radar video signal. Subsequently, both signals are compared by a selection means 3 and, after a transmission pulse is emitted, corresponding to the magnitude of the average value signal to a reference signal, the difference signal and the radar signal are selected to be outputted during period until the transmission pulse is emitted. By this method, a sea clutter signal is suppressed and a clear land image signal is outputted and radar data effective from the aspect of the navigation of a ship can be obtained.</p> |
