PURPOSE: To use both of hot soln. heating and electrical induction heating at the same time by heating a tank of a liquid heated to temp. at least equal to the melting temp. of a metal and the fusible core of the hollow product immersed in the tank by using electrical induction. CONSTITUTION: Heating using electrical induction melts a core rapidly from the surface part of the core and the region of the max. cross section vertical to an induction field to accelerate the flow of the molten metal in these regions. By this constitution, the hot soln. of a tank is made possible to enter thus opened space between an injection article and the residue of the core and, when heating effect using electrical induction is reduced, the final solid trace of the meltable core is easily melted. That is, a hollow product to be treated is carried into a cylindrical container 1 by a handling means 10 to be immersed in the hot mineral oil held in the container. A coil is used so that the meltable core is melted from the surface thereof when the hollow product is immersed and the hot mineral oil is allowed to flow out and, therefore, the meltable core is perfectly melted. The molten metal flows out of a cylindrical container 1 by gravitational action to be accumulated in a metal collector 2. |
