The burner of a hot gas circulation oven has an entry around the flame tube through which a portion of circulating gas is recycled. The flame and particularly the flame core is thus cooled. The dwell time of the gases in the burner is pref. controlled by an exhaust gas baffle. The burner pref. has perforations in the area of the flame tube and the pressure of the circulation blower is pref. adjustable. USE/ADVANTAGE - Oil and gas burning hot gas circulation ovens with high flame temps.. Reduced nitrous oxide emission.
