PURPOSE:To easily perform printing by a simple recording apparatus and to spontaneously erase recording data by standing by providing a thermal recording layer containing a heat-sensitive material discoloring reversibly by a temp. change on a base material. CONSTITUTION:The thermal recording layer 2 formed on a base material 1 or a sealing layer 3 contains a heat-sensitive material discoloring reversibly by a temp. change. As the heat-sensitive material to be used, an inorg heat- sensitive material such as a mercury iodide complex, an org. heat-sensitive material wherein an electron donating color forming compound and an electron acceptive compound are dispersed in a solvent compound such as alcohol and a cholesteric liquid crystal heat-sensitive material are designated. Further, it is pref. that a transparent overcoat layer composed of a resin solution or a transparent plastic film are laminated to the recording layer 2 through an adhesive layer 5 to form a transparent layer 4. By this constitution, a recording material easily subjected to printing by a simple recording apparatus such as a thermal printer and capable of spontaneously erasing recording data by standing is obtained. |
