PURPOSE:To provide a sophisticated shape without processing waste and manufacture a polyolefin foamed material to which no heat transfer medium is adhered by putting a foaming composition into a mold with an air vent, immersing the mold into the heated heat transfer medium bath and heating a metal plate of the mold from outside without flowing the heat transfer medium into the inside of the mold. CONSTITUTION:For instance, a foaming sheet 4 is put into a mold 1 and a press plate 2 is fixed. A space is between the press plate 2 and the inner face of the mold 1 to work as an air vent, and further said mold is immersed in the 170 deg.C oil bath 3 and the outer face of the mold is heated. The upper surface open section of the mold is above the oil bath and the oil is not flowed into the mold, and the air in the mold is released from the opening as the foaming sheet 4 is foamed. The heat transfer medium is adhered on the surface of the foamed material by said arrangement to eliminate the pollution generated by the heat transfer medium, and the design can be applied freely in conformity with the finished product and the processing waste of the foamed material is not generated. |
