A copy sheet comprises a support carrying one or more layers containing a diazonium compound, an azo coupler and zinc oxide and a polar polymeric binder with at least the polar binder and the diazo compound being in the same layer. This sheet may be imagewise exposed to light and developed by heat or imagewise exposed to heat and then fixed by light. Preferably the sine oxide is in a water-resistant polymeric binder as one layer and the diozonium compound and the coupler are in the polar binder as the other layer on the support. The sheet may contain saccharine as an acid stabilizer. Specified polar binders are polyvinyl acetate, cellulose acetate and polyamides. |
