<p>PURPOSE:To avoid the waste in configuration and to make a printer compact without degrading printing quality by executing signal processing to printing data by referring the printing data in adjacent lines. CONSTITUTION:In a recording part 1, a printing data correcting circuit 10 is provided to correct printing data A to be outputted from a central processing circuit 3, a latch circuit 11 is provided to latch printing data C from the circuit 10 and a printing head 9 is provided with a shift register S and printing element H1-Hn. The printing data A from the circuit 3 are corrected synchronously with a serial clock pulse CLK by referring printing data B from the head 9 in the circuit 10 and outputted to the circuit 11 as the printing data C. A signal inverting the pulse CLK by an inverter 12 is applied to the circuit 11 and printing data E from the circuit 11 are outputted to a terminal T2 of a connector 17 in the head 9 while being delayed only by the half period of the pulse CLK rather than the printing data C. The pulse CLK is applied to a terminal T3 of the connector 17 in the head 9 as well.</p> |
