PURPOSE:To mount an automatic original feeding device on a copying machine having the multicopy function to prevent the lowering of the processing capability, by feeding the next waiting original when a signal indicating that the copying operation for an original is terminated is received from the copying machine. CONSTITUTION:An automatic original feeding device 100 mounted on an original table 2 of a copying machine main body 1 consists of an original in sertion part 101 for insertion of piled-up originals, an original separation part 102 for separating piled-up originals one by one, and an original insertion part 103 for manual insertion, and an original is separated by the separation part 102 and waits temporarily in the position of an original leading edge detecting means 134 and is inserted to an exposure part 3. When the trailing edge of this original passes through a separating roller 122, the next original is separated and carried and waits temporarily in the position of the sensor 134 and is fed automatically when a start signal indicating that the copying operation for the preceding original is terminated is received. |
