Controlling pump delivery head - measuring speed and pulse-interval ratio, and allocating delivery head actual value to each value pair

The pump delivery head is controlled by changing the pulse-interval ratio of a push-pull voltage signal, energising a control transistor, in turn actuating the electric motor driving the pump. The speed and the pulse-interval ratio are measured and to each thus derived value pair is allocated an actual value of the delivery head by a microprocessor. The actual value is compared with a value corresp. to the rated delivery head and the pulse-internal ratio of the push-pull voltage signal is changed such that the value difference of the rated and actual delivery head is zero. Pref. the motor operating voltage is also measured and the result supplied to the microprocessor. ADVANTAGE - Controllable adjustment of pump delivery head.
