Apparatus for transport of empty cultivation channels 2 in a plant cultivation layout, where the cultivation channels 2 are displaced during the growth of the plants in a direction which is basically perpendicular to their lengthwise direction, along a cultivation bed 1 from a planting station II at one end of the bed, where the plants are placed in the channels, to a harvesting station I at the other end of the bed, where the plants are removed from the channels, in that the cultivation channels 2 are brought back from the harvesting station I to the planting station II emptied of plants. The empty cultivation channels 2 are arranged in a magazine 5 which is situated above the cultivation bed 1, in that the cultivation channels 2 are transported by means of the magazine 5 from the harvesting station I to the planting station II. The magazine 5 is arranged on a bridge 3 which extends above the cultivation bed 1 parallel to the lengthwise direction of the cultivation channels 2, and which can run along the cultivation bed 1 between its harvesting station I and its planting station II. <IMAGE>
