PURPOSE:To detect even the latent curvature and to accurately perform the detection irrelevantly to the magnetic properties of the metallic strip by measuring the curvature of the metallic strip according to the grating constants of the top and reverse surfaces of a part being held in a specific shape. CONSTITUTION:The metallic strip 1 which is unwound from a coil holder 2 travels as shown by an arrow and passes a leveler 3 for correcting the shape of the metallic strip 1, the curvature detecting device 4 which detects the shape of the metallic strip 1, and a pinch roller 5 and is cut into sheets by a shearing machine 6. Further, a driving controller drives and controls the leveler 3 according to the detection result of the detecting device so that the flatness of the metallic strip 1 is improved. Thus, even the latent curvature can be detected and the accurate detection is performed irrelevantly to the magnetic properties, etc., of the metallic strip 1. |
