A precision suspension device for an auger consists of a fixing plate incorporating a centring ring. The centring ring (3) has upper and lower sealing rings (12, 15) fixed inside a cylindrical sleeve (2), and a torque stabilising of the ring is by radial recesses (7) in the surface of the ring (3). A pendulum movement of the ring (3) is permitted by centring bolts (9) in the sleeve (2). USE/ADVANTAGE - Allows an exact positioning of the auger in a malaligned situation.
