<p>An electrically retractable door mirror employing worms and worm wheels (25, 26; 27, 28) arranged in two stages as a reduction mechanism, wherein an idle gear (30) is interposed between the gear (29) on the side of the reduction mechanism (24) and another gear (19) on the side of the clutch mechanism (15) for obtaining a higher reduction ratio and preventing the worm wheel (28) in the second stage from interfering with the assembling of the clutch mechanism (15). For reducing wear at both ends of the revolving shaft of the worm (27) in the second stage and thrust bearings supporting said ends caused by thrust load generated on the worm (27) in the second stage, a ball (36) for the thrust bearing is interposed between each end of the revolving shaft of the worm (27) and each thrust bearing.</p> |
