<p>Process and plant for the manufacture of hydrocarbon binder modified using synthetic additives with a view to its applications in road structures. The plant according to the invention comprises in series: - means (10, 12, 14) for feeding hydrocarbon binder; - an in-line heat exchanger (16); - a premixer (18) with an axis inclined downwards in the direction of forward movement of the products to be mixed, which is coupled to at least one storage vessel (20) for additives in the vicinity of the entry for the binder; - at least one digester (30) which is in the form of a vessel with a vertical axis, equipped with means for twin-flow stirring; - a mill with high shearing energy (42), and - a station for storing (50) and/or loading (52) the modified additives.
