PURPOSE:To prevent turbulent printing and improve reliability by a method wherein monitoring is effected for a predetermined period of time when vibration or impact has not been detected while printing is stopped when vibration or impact has occured during printing and the printing is effected when the vibration or the impact has not been detected again after a predetermined period of time. CONSTITUTION:A printing data is received from a control unit 3 through a buffer 12 while the received printing data is stored into a memory 10. Subsequently, when a sensor 9 is detecting vibration or impact, a timer 14 is operated to effect monitoring for a predetermined period of time and when the sensor 9 is not detecting the vibration or the impact again after a predetermined period of time, the printing data is read out of the memory 10 again to effect duplicated printing. When the sensor 9 has detected the vibration or the impact again during printing, the printing is stopped and the timer 14 is operated to effect monitoring for a predetermined period of time and, thereafter, the printing is effected. |
