This invention relates to a method for assaying indirect agglutination such as the microtiter technique for assaying antigen or antibody, wherein magnetized particles are used as a particulate carrier and a magnetic force of a suitable strength is applied to the reaction system for a predetermined period of time. This method takes only about five minutes to conduct an assay which has taken one to two hours heretofore.
