<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the flexibility and rigidity of the ceiling material concerned and further improve the assembling workability and working environmental properties by a structure wherein surfacing material layer is provided on fiber reinforcing material, which has specified length and is dusted nondirectionally over base material having specified basis weight and being made of palm, coir or hemp. CONSTITUTION:Surfacing material 3 is piled up for forming under heat and pressure on fiber reinforcing material 2, which is prepared by cutting organic or inorganic fiber roving to the lengths of 20-100mm and dusted nondirectionally on one side or both sides of base material 1 having the basis weight of 300-800g/m<2> and being made of palm, coir or hemp and applied and impregnated with liquid phenolic resin-based adhesive. At this time, the liquid phenolic resin-based adhesive is preferably impregnated in sheet-like fibers under the condition being diluted by solvent such as water, alcohol or the like so as to bring the ratio of the phenolic resin-base adhesive to the solvent in the range of 1:3-2:1. Thus, the resultant material has elasticity, flexibility and deflection excellent in assembling workability and, at the same time, rigidity. On the other hand, working environmental troubles such as irritation of skin and the like are eliminated.</p> |
