<p>PURPOSE:To survey a buried body in a short time with high accuracy and to enable the survey even when its shape and burying state are unspecified by using a transmitting and a receiving antenna in common and obtained three echo images by the two transmitting and receiving antennas. CONSTITUTION:The trigger signal of a trigger generator 1 is switched by a distributor 12 to three signals, i.e. 1st-3rd signals in order. The 1st signal is converted by a pulse generator 131 into a 1st pulse signal, and an electromagnetic wave is sent from the transmitting antenna 141. This electromagnetic wave 21 is reflected by the underground buried pipe 30 and received by the receiving antenna 143. This echo wave 23 is passed through a receiver 151 and converted by an A/D converter 161 into a digital signal, which is matched by an arithmetic part 41 with position information from a position sensor 17, calculated as information in X-direction units, and stored as a 1st image signal in a memory 451. The 2nd and 3rd signals are processed similarly and stored in memories 452 and 453 and the arithmetic part 41 makes decisions according to the memory contents.</p> |
