PURPOSE:To enable a telephone and a transmission means to share a single telephone circuit and to effectively use the telephone circuit by providing a switching means to a terminal equipment to selectively connect the telephone and the copy data transmission means to the telephone circuit. CONSTITUTION:A copy data control system is provided with a terminal equipment containing a means which sends the information on the maintenance of a copying machine to an integrated controller which controls the copying machine via a telephone circuit. An on-line controller 30 is connected to one or plural copy data controllers 20 and a telephone 40a or 40b. These telephones 40 are connected to a switchboard 3 via the telephone circuits 4a and 4b in a telephone mode. Simultaneously, the controllers 20 are connected to a center controller 50 in a transmission mode. Thus the communication is controlled between the controllers 20 and 50. In such a constitution, the economical properties can be improved since the telephone circuit of an existing telephone can be used to the copy data control system. |
