PURPOSE:To prevent the unexpected rotary movement of an output shaft that may be caused when the pressure the pressure supply source is turned on, by detecting and displaying the absolute rotary positions of both the input and output shafts of a servo torque amplifier even when the pressure supply source is not operating. CONSTITUTION:In case of applying to a muscle power training machine, in which the rotary position of a muscle power applying mechaism 8 e.g. handle, pedal, etc., is controlled through a servo torque amplifier 7 for a target value of the rotary position set by a setter 16, new rotary position display devices 21, 25 are provided additionally. At use, power supply of each display device 21, 25 is turned on before a pressure supply source 5 is turned on and the display of each display unit 21, 25 performing display corresponding to an absolute rotary position of an input shaft 1 and output shaft 3 is read, and a deviation of the absolute rotary position between both shafts 1, 3 is detected. Then in accordance with this deviation, the muscle power applying mechanism 8 is rotated, and the output shaft 3 is rotated to a position with no diviation, and then the pressure supply source 5 is turned on. |
