PURPOSE:To omit the marking operation to indicate a defective part of a product and permit an easy checking thereof by providing numerals or symbols along either or both of the side edges of a release paper for covering a resin- impregnated, reinforced fiber layer or covering material such as cover film. CONSTITUTION:A laminated sheet composed of a resin-coated paper A, a reinforced fiber F and a resin-coated paper B is supplied to a hot press means 5, whereby the reinforced fiber F is impregnated with resin to form a resin- impregnated, reinforced fiber layer, i.e., a prepreg P. A release paper B' for the lower coated paper B is about 10-30mm wider than the coated paper extending beyond one side edge of the prepreg P and the labels bearing numerals and symbols are attached to the side edge of the extending part of this release paper B' at a pitch of 1cm. For this reason, a marking means has a label carrier tape, on which the labels having a pressure sensitive adhesive layer on one side thereof and the numerals or symbols indicating the length printed on the other side thereof are adhesively bonded at an interval of 1cm for example. |
