发明名称 PRODUCTION OF TITANIUM POTASSIUM ARSENATE SINGLE CRYSTAL
摘要 PURPOSE:To easily and inexpensively obtain a titanium potassium arsenate single crystal by adding a specific compd. as a flux at a prescribed ratio to KTiOAsO4 and maintaining the m. p. within a range where arsenic acid does not evaporate thereby executing a flux method. CONSTITUTION:The compd. expressed by K2ZO4 (Z is W, S, Mo, Cr) is added as a flux to titanium potassium arsenate. The amt. of the addition is confined in the range where the ratio of titanium potassium arsenate attains 15 to 50mol% of the entire part. The mixture is then put into a crucible and is heated to melt uniformly; thereafter, the mixture is slowly cooled. The resulted product is charged together with the crucible into water and the dissolved and deposited titanium potassium arsenate single crystal is recovered. The titanium potassium arsenate single crystal is easily produced under atm. pressure in this way and the resulted single crystal has the characteristic to convert an IR YAG laser beam to green light with high conversion efficiency.
