A double-glazed glass pane (1) with the two glass plates (2,3) joined by a plastic foil (4) are prefabricated ready to be bonded to the frame (15) of the bodywork or a motor vehicle by a first primer layer (6) to which an elastically (but not plastically) deformable adhesive profile (7) is bonded. One side (9) is higher than the other (8) of this channel shaped strand and has a rim (12) to retain the frame (15). A second adhesive profile strand (11) can be deformed platically or can be activated and is made of material compatible with the first (7). This second strand has originally a triangular cross-section; it fills out the channel (7) when compressed. The protective foil (16) is an aluminium-plastic foil. The strands (7,11) are made of PU; the second (11) hardens by oxidation or moisture of is activated by heat input.
