PURPOSE:To obtain a microcapsule free of phase separation by covering the core material with a capsule membrane difficultly soluble in a liq. mixture of water and glycerin or its acetate and suspending microcapsules as a discontinuous phase with the liq. mixture as a continuous phase. CONSTITUTION:The medicine, agricultural chemical, perfume, adhesive, solvent, catalyst, enzyme, cosmetic, rust preventive agent, etc., as the core material are covered with the capsule membrane difficultly soluble in a liq. mixture of water and glycerin or its acetate (consisting of an oil-soluble membrane material such as polycyanate, polycarboxylic acid chloride and polysulfonic acid chloride or a water-soluble membrane material such as a polyhydroxy compd.). The microcapsules as the discontinuous phase are suspended with the liq. mixture as the continuous phase. In-situ polymerization or interfacial polymerization is exemplified as the production process, the density of the discontinuous phase is controlled to 1.05-1.25g/cm<3>, the density ratio of the continuous phase to discontinuous phase is adjusted to 0.95-1.05, and a microcapsule free of phase separation is obtained. |
