The invention is related to a communication system comprising a source node (S), a plurality of relay nodes (R1 ¦ Rn) and a central node (C). The relay nodes (R) each receive the same data (200) sent by the source node (S) and send the received data (200) to the central node (C). The transmission environment being such that the data (200) thus sent to the central node (C) may possibly be affected by an electromagnetic perturbation. Each relay node (R) is operable to send different portions of the same data (200) at a given time. The relay nodes (R) are configured to send blocks of data comprising different sub-blocks of data (ABCD, DABC, CDAB, BCDA) to the central node (C) at a given time. Cyclical interleaving of the sub-blocks of data is performed to ensure a maximum of robustness against electromagnetic perturbations occurring in an industrial environment. |
