<p>PURPOSE:To attain stable and accurate coordinate reading by impressing high and low level voltages to two resistor films prior to reading coordinate values, and reading the coordinate values, comparing the preceding reading with the succeeding reading value to inspect the validity of the reading. CONSTITUTION:Immediately after impressing only a high or low level voltage to the two resistor films 1, 2 prior to the reading of a coordinate value. Then the low or high voltage other than the preceding level is impressed to both the films 1, 2 and the coordinate value is read out immediately after the voltage impression. The preceding read value is compared with the succeeding read value to inspect the validity of the values. Consequently, the unstableness of read values such as the dispersion of the values due to impressed stress can be improved similarly to an electromagnetic type coordinate input device and a highly functioned I/O device combined with a display device can be obtained by using the originally inexpensive, light and transparent resistor films.</p> |
