<p>NEW MATERIAL:A diacrylic ester of formula I (R1 and R2 are each 2-10C alkyl). USE:Ultraviolet-curable printing ink compositions excellent in moisture resistance, emulsifiability and washability. PREPARATION:A reaction is made pref. at 70-130 deg.C between a compound of formula II and acrylic acid in the presence of both an esterification catalyst such as p-toluenesulfonic acid or sulfuric acid and a polymerization inhibitor such as hydroquinone to obtain the objective compound of the formula I.</p> |
