PURPOSE:To compatibly provide both of the high-temp. offset resistance of an A segment and the low-temp. fixability of a B segment by using a block copolymer of a specific ABA type as a binder resin. CONSTITUTION:The A to constitute the block copolymer is a copolymer synthesized from styrene and methacrylic monomers and the B to constitute the block copolymer is a copolymer synthesized from styrenic and acrylic monomers. Resins having at least >= 2 glass transition points between 25 and 90 deg.C are used as the block copolymer. The blocking resistance and high-temp. offset resistance are provided by the A segment which is a sea in the sea and island structure of such block copolymer of the (ABA)n type (n=1 to 20) and the low-temp. fixability is imparted by the B segment. The toner which allows low-temp. fixing and has a wide fixing temp. region is obtd. in this way. |
